1964 Fender Stratocaster
I bought my first electric guitar, along with a Sears Silvertone amp, used in 1972, for a total of $200.
In its day this old Stratocaster was so innovative that it became a classic and vintage guitar. It has a unique sound from the three single-coil pickups that Fender really mastered, and has such comfortable neck and body shapes.
It served me well for the three decades that I played locally in live bands.
