My friend Tom Verratti's father Thomas was a highly skilled master tool and dye maker, from before the advent of computer numerical control machines. He was in high demand up and down the northeast coast.

Tom and I discovered his tool chest and tools while sifting through the dark corners of Tom's basement. This would have been Mr. Verratti's entire portable tool set. He also owned a few large stationary tools such as a lathe.

These photos and the resulting poster are meant to honor the memory of Tom's dad.
