Widewater *

Paralleling Mather Gorge, the canal widens into a lake-like a waterway that is my favorite place in the park. It is so peaceful and lovely at all times of the year, and all hours of the day. Widewater is flanked by the towpath and the much less known Berma Road that sits high above its eastern shore.
